Bay Path Education Foundation Scholarship

Deadline: 3/6/2026

Eligibility: Open to all Bay Path seniors for either a College Tuition Scholarship or a Tool Scholarship. Students may choose only one option.
Application Requirements: See class of 2026 Application and Addendum Requirements

Please review the Addendum for instructions. The scholarship application requires a 250-word typed essay, which must be reviewed by a teacher before submission. Additionally, students must submit a completed application, a typed resume, and a transcript provided by the guidance office.

Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation

Criteria:   The scholarship is available to any high school student in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It is awarded on the basis of need, and is not academically based. Note:   The Foundation will give more serious consideration to those students who have made efforts to make a difference in their communities and/or have shown leadership qualities within their school or community.

Paul D. O'Reilly Award

Deadline: 6/1/2026
Criteria:   Senior in Metal Fabrication at Bay Path, interested in pursuing a career in welding after graduation
Note:  Mr. Paul O’Reilly was a master welder who once took a class here at Bay Path.  While studying here, he asked the instructor to see the equipment we have in our Metal Fab program.    He was very pleased with Bay Path and all that we do for our students.   His family is providing this Tool Award in his memory to an outstanding senior from our Metal Fab program who is looking to pursue a career in welding after high school.    Recipients will be nominated by their welding instructors.
